Industrial Engineer
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and production systems
Deep understanding of inventory management principles
Hands‑on experience in SAP MM module (mandatory)
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing & Warehouse Lean practices
Proficiency in process analysis tools (time study, line balancing, VSM, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination abilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse & Production Process Optimization
Analyze and improve end-to-end warehouse and production workflows for enhanced efficiency and throughput
Drive standardization of material handling, storage, and production processes
Conduct time studies, motion studies, and capacity analysis
Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement solutions
2. Inventory Management & Control
Design and implement robust inventory management strategies
Monitor inventory accuracy, stock levels, and material flow
Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and picking strategies
Ensure alignment between physical inventory and SAP system data
3. SAP MM (Materials Management) – Functional Expertise
Work extensively on SAP MM module including:
Inventory management
Goods Receipt (GR) / Goods Issue (GI)
Ensure proper transaction flow and data integrity in SAP
Support SAP-driven process improvements and system enhancements
Collaborate with IT and business teams for SAP MM customizations/configurations
4. Lean Implementation in Warehouse & Shopfloor
Lead implementation of Lean methodologies such as:
5S
Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
Drive continuous improvement culture across operations
Measure and track Lean KPIs (cycle time, lead time, waste reduction, efficiency)
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with production, quality, supply chain, and IT teams
Support SOP development and process documentation
Provide training and guidance to operational teams on best practices

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Certifications in Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or above preferred)
Experience in manufacturing or supply chain-intensive industries
Improvement in warehouse productivity and efficiency
Reduction in inventory discrepancies and carrying costs
Successful implementation of Lean initiatives
Enhanced SAP MM process adoption and accuracy
Measurable gains in cycle time and throughput
