This role ensures that all maintenance, inspection, and service tasks are executed efficiently to maximize equipment availability and support operational performance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with a working knowledge of maintenance systems, equipment lifecycles, and warranty administration.Maintenance Planning & SchedulingPlan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activitiesMaintain oversight of equipment tracking and maintenance statusManage and prioritize work orders, ensuring accurate documentation and proper executionUtilize internal service request systems to plan, track, and close maintenance tasksCoordinate equipment downtime and service intervals in alignment with operational and field schedulesService, Work Orders & InspectionsSchedule and coordinate routine inspections and service requirements (e.g., work orders, lifting equipment, pressure systems, fire protection, DOT, and safety-related inspections)Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance, including corrective actions takenInterface with field teams and supervisors to collect feedback and adjust maintenance plans as requiredInventory & Parts ManagementEnsure availability of critical spare parts to support both planned and unplanned maintenanceWork closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory levelsProvide input on inventory forecasting, parts kitting, and reorder thresholds based on usage and failure trendsWarranty & Component Failure ManagementTrack and administer warranty claims to support cost recovery effortsLog and analyze component failures to identify recurring issues or reliability concernsTrend Analysis & ReportingMonitor and report on premature or abnormal failure trendsProvide data-driven insights to support continuous improvement initiativesEquipment Damage ReportingPrepare and distribute equipment damage reportsAnalyze damage data to support prevention strategies and reduce repeat incidentsQualifications & Experience35 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably within industrial, energy, drilling, or heavy equipment environmentsStrong working knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel-powered equipment, and rotating machineryProficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or CMMS platforms preferredFamiliarity with warranty management, component lifecycle tracking, and reliability-based maintenance principlesSkills & CompetenciesHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management capabilitiesAnalytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and recommend practical solutionsStrong communication skills to coordinate across departments and with external vendorsProactive, solutions-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvementCompensation & Benefits$45$55/hour, dependent on experience and qualificationsComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and performance-based incentives
