Our employees are exceptional, giving us a competitive advantage by innovating solutions with a strong sense of mission and integrity.One of our clients in Raleigh, NC needs a Technical Lead for a contract position.Position: Technical LeadLocation: HybridPosition Type: ContractJob Description:Provide guidance and mentorship to developers.Support project manager and technical project manager by handling technical responsibilities across multiple pipelinesCollaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and suggest effective modernization strategies.Support teams in designing, developing, and testing Java-based, cloud-native applications and backend systems.Help teams design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines.Assist teams in analyzing data models and business requirements.Perform data validation by querying the database to ensure data is accurately inserted,updated, and deleted, maintaining data integrity.Aid teams in designing, creating, and executing test cases.Support teams in validating back-end logic and data processing that may not be immediately visible through the user interface.Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to understand data needs and guarantee thorough test coverage.Assist teams in using AWS services within application architecture.Help teams develop, test, debug, and deliver projects on time using the best tools and practices.Assist teams with code reviews, enforce security best practices, and maintain clean,efficient code.Support monitoring of application performance and optimize for cost, security, and reliability.Identify,analyze, and resolve technical issues and challenges.Ensure compliance with standards and best practices.Work with product managers, business stakeholders, and team members to refine requirements and deliver solutions.Requirements:Experience in modernizing legacy applications, which should include refactoring/migrating in-house legacy applications to the cloud environment.Proficient in utilizing AWS services and related components towards building enterprise level Data Lakes.Experience in software development with hands-on skills in Java - strong Java,J2EE, Java Spring framework & hibernate technology.Experience working with any transactional or RDMS databasesExperience with DevOps practices and automation toolsSQL - Writing Complex Queries, understanding Database Relationships, debugging and performance tuningETL tools - Hands-on experience with cloud-based toolUnderstanding data modelingKnowledge / experience using any ETL tools, experience with data analytics using PowerBI or AWS QuickSight etc. is plus.Must have experience/familiar with Agile/Scrum Framework environmentsEmployee Benefits:Masonbyte offers a comprehensive benefits program including various options in these plans:Medical InsurancePaid Holiday/Annual/Sick/PersonalLeaveEmployee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)Generous 401(k) Company PlanEducation AssistanceProfessional Development Programs ReimbursementIf you are interested in this position, please send me a copy of your latest resume at recruiting@masonbyte.com with the information requested below: Also, please let me know what time/number is best to call to discuss this great opportunity.
