Job DescriptionWe are actively seeking a skilled Communication Systems Engineer to support a growing portfolio of infrastructure and technology-driven construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in low-voltage and communications systems who are passionate about delivering high-quality engineering solutions across complex projects. The right candidate will play a key role in the design, coordination, and delivery of communication systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong backlog, collaborative leadership, and long-term career growth.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support in the design and delivery of communications systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, public address, intercom, audio visual, telephone, and network infrastructureAssist in the development and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specificationsApply engineering techniques and design criteria across projects of varying size and complexitySupport the creation and development of communications system designs for assigned projectsCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and system integrators to ensure constructabilityProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersPerform quality control reviews of engineering deliverablesAssist in project planning, scheduling, and workload distributionSupport development and updates of internal technical manuals and training programsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experienceExperience with one or more low-voltage communications systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, PA/intercom, AV, telecom, fiber/copper networks, SCADA, or real-time information systems)Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or RevitAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with transportation or infrastructure-related communications systemsEngineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license (or pursuit of licensure)BICSI RCDD certificationExperience working on large-scale or complex projectsCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $100K - $130K (depending on experience)Performance bonusesStrong benefits packageStable project backlogCareer advancement opportunitiesApply / ContactFor confidential consideration, contact Lee Stevicks directly at (605) 705-3635 or send resumes to lee.stevicks@gogpac.com
