Associate Attorney

An exciting opportunity to join a long-established boutique law firm specializing in Real Estate Management. The Firm is actively seeking an attorney with 1 to 2 years’ experience to join and grow with our Firm. This is a full-time on-site role located in Burlington, Massachusetts. Excellent benefits, competitive salary commensurate with experience, and a great work environment. Must have reliable transportation.Tasks Include:Interview new clients and meet with existing clients to render legal advice.Perform legal research on a multitude of Real Estate topics.Travel to Housing and District Courts to argue motions and attend other pre-trial court appearances before a judge and conduct trials.Draft legal documents; including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and repayment agreements.Track and enter billable time. Achieve assigned billable goals.Maintain a professional attitude and presence within the office.Complete ongoing professional development through employer sponsored training with MCLE, MBA and REBA.Qualifications:Experience and proficiency in conducting Legal ResearchStrong Negotiation skills and the ability to represent clients effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the state of MassachusettsPrior experience in real estate law or litigation is a plus
