Job Description At Residence Design Build Remodel, our installers deliver high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service on every project. The Kitchen & Bath Installer plays a key role in transforming our clients' homes with attention to detail, professionalism, and pride in workmanship.Primary ResponsibilitiesDemolition & Site PreparationProtect floors, walls, and adjacent areas before work beginsPerform selective demolition of kitchens, bathrooms, and related spacesRemove cabinets, countertops, fixtures, flooring, drywall, and trimLoad and dispose of debris in dumpsters or trailersMaintain a clean and organized job site throughout the projectCarpentry & InstallationInstall kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, including custom and semi-custom productsInstall trim, moldings, fillers, panels, and hardwareInstall interior doors, pocket doors, and other finish carpentry elementsFrame walls, soffits, niches, and structural modifications as directedInstall backing and blocking for vanities, accessories, and glassDrywall & Surface PreparationHang, tape, and finish drywallPatch walls and ceilings after demolition or modificationsPrepare surfaces for paint, tile, and finish materialsTile InstallationInstall floor and wall tile, backsplashes, shower surrounds, and shower pansMix and apply thinset and groutWaterproof shower systems using approved methods and materialsEnsure proper layout, spacing, and finishing detailsFlooring InstallationInstall LVP, engineered hardwood, and tile flooringPrepare subfloors, including leveling and underlaymentFixture & Finish InstallationInstall vanities, mirrors, accessories, and shower doorsInstall cabinet hardware and decorative elementsCoordinate with plumbers and electricians for final fixture installationMaterial Handling & LogisticsReceive and inspect deliveries for damage and accuracyOrganize and stage materials on sitePerform store runs to pick up tools and materials as neededNotify project managers of missing or damaged itemsQuality ControlEnsure all work meets Residence Design Build Remodel quality standardsReview completed work for accuracy and finish qualityCorrect deficiencies promptlyCustomer ServiceMaintain a courteous and professional demeanor with clientsRespect clients' homes and personal propertyCommunicate progress and concerns to the project managerSafety & ComplianceFollow OSHA and company safety proceduresOperate tools and equipment safelyWear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Team CollaborationWork closely with designers, project managers, and subcontractorsMentor apprentices and installer assistants when appropriateParticipate in problem-solving and field adjustmentsGeneral ExpectationsArrive on time and prepared for each workdayMaintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportationKeep company tools and equipment in good working orderRepresent Residence Design Build Remodel professionally at all timesDeliver craftsmanship that reflects our commitment to helping clients Love Where You Live®
