In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing data pipelines and infrastructure to support sophisticated dashboards and visualizations. Your work will involve coding and implementing data solutions while ensuring that dashboards are both technically robust and user-friendly. Your background in computer science will be crucial for building these solutions, and your experience in design or UX/UI will help ensure that the final products meet stakeholder needs.Key ResponsibilitiesData Coordination and Management:Work closely with department heads to understand their reporting needs and requirements.Coordinate the collection and organization of data from various departments and sources.Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.Create dashboards based on company KPIs including impact data and financial models.Dashboard DevelopmentDevelop and implement code architecture to manage and process data inputs, ensuring the creation of an organized and efficient data ecosystem.Develop and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights.Design and build systems to efficiently process, analyze, and store large datasets, enabling real-time reporting and tracking through robust and scalable data architectures.Code and optimize dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or custom solutions.Data Pipeline DevelopmentDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure.Ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified data architecture.Design and UX/UI:Apply design principles and UX/UI best practices to ensure dashboards are visually appealing and user-friendly.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their visualization requirements and enhance user experience.Data Management and Quality AssuranceImplement data quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval processes.Identify and implement improvements in data processing and visualization techniques.Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and narrative insights that support business objectives.Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to provide real-time insights.Provide regular updates and communicate findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.Proficient written and verbal communication in English.3-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data pipeline development and dashboard creation.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java for data manipulation and pipeline coding.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Solid understanding of design principles and UX/UI best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data solutions in an understandable manner.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.Passion for financial inclusion and the mission of SUMA Wealth.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their qualifications and interest in the position to operations@sumawealth.com.
