Maintenance Technician, 1st Shift

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician, Southern Indiana for a well-established national food manufacturer.This company is committed to providing high quality products while upholding the highest levels of food safety and best-in-class methods in the industry and they are looking for people who want to join us for a long career and be part of a great success story.Duties and responsibilities:Machine maintenance, breaking down equipment when needed, helping to adjust and set up equipment for daily production.Overseeing preventative maintenance, which includes daily and weekly inspection of all machinery.Light plumbing, electrical, welding and carpentry when neededWork with the Maintenance Manager to recommend machine upgrades to boost efficiencyPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required.Qualifications:Experience with food packaging machines is required.
