Box Truck Diver/Appliance Installer

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver/Appliance Installer to join our team in Rhinelander, WI. This role involves safely operating box trucks for delivery routes, installing appliances at customer locations, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving background, experience with heavy lifting and moving, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with appliance installation. Duties Safely operate box trucks for local delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload appliances and other heavy items using hand truck, moving straps, or manual handling techniques Deliver appliances to residential and commercial customers across designated routes Install appliances at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and operation according to manufacturer specifications Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns Inspect deliveries for accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies promptly Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the delivery vehicle Assist with troubleshooting in-field scenarios along the route Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or warehouse associate with route driving familiarity Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required Experience operating box trucks with automatic and manual transmission is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical work involving moving appliances and equipment Have an understanding how to use hand and power tools Familiarity with appliance installation processes is advantageous Excellent driving skills with experience in route planning and navigation Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adhere to schedules This position requires a dedicated individual capable of handling physically demanding tasks while maintaining a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day Work Location: In person
