IT Procurement ManagerOnsite – 5 Days/WeekOverland Park6-month Contract-to-HireOverviewWe are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a portfolio of indirect IT spend categories. This role is responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, and aligning sourcing outcomes with broader business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic procurement professional with strong negotiation, analytics, and stakeholder management experience who can partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable value, mitigate risk, and support enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesMust have strong independent contract negotiation experienceMust have experience closely reviewing and de-risking contractsDevelop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies and portfolio roadmaps for IT spend categoriesConduct supply market analysis, demand planning, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCO) assessmentsLead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx management, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contractingNegotiate commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and change ordersManage strategic supplier relationships and partner with Vendor Relationship Management teams on QBRs and performance initiativesDrive year-over-year cost savings, cost avoidance, rebates, credits, and operational efficienciesIdentify and mitigate supplier-related risks including financial, geopolitical, cybersecurity, ESG, and business continuity concernsPartner with Legal, Finance, Operations, InfoSec, Engineering, and business stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational goalsMonitor supplier performance, KPIs, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement initiativesDevelop sourcing playbooks, standardized RFx templates, negotiation frameworks, and portfolio governance processesMaintain compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows, audit requirements, and contract lifecycle controlsUtilize spend analytics, market intelligence, and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-makingSupport supplier innovation initiatives, diversity programs, and sustainability goalsRequired Qualifications7–10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurementStrong experience managing indirect IT spend categories including software/SaaS, cloud, hardware, and IT servicesProven expertise in:RFx managementComplex contract negotiationsSupplier performance managementTCO and cost analysisStrategic sourcing methodologiesExperience with eSourcing, contract lifecycle management, and procure-to-pay (P2P) platformsStrong analytical and financial acumen, including advanced Excel skillsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership abilitiesStrong risk management mindset with experience implementing supplier mitigation strategiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferredRelevant certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, or PMP are a plusIndustry experience is preferred but not required
