Material Handler

Job Description Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler to join our production team in a fast-paced, climate-controlled manufacturing environment for our Hurst, TX location. The Material Handler is responsible for pulling materials and finished products, preparing orders, and ensuring products are properly rolled, packed, and ready for shipment according to work orders and delivery requirements.This is a hands-on position that requires frequent lifting, bending, standing, and moving materials throughout the production area.Key Responsibilities:Pull and organize stock materials to fill customer orders.Review work orders and delivery tickets to ensure the correct products and quantities are prepared.Roll, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.Move materials and finished products throughout the production area.Perform frequent lifting, bending, and standing throughout the workday.Occasionally lift and handle materials weighing more than 50 pounds.Maintain an organized and clean work area.Follow established production, safety, and quality procedures.Communicate effectively with supervisors and other production team members.Work cooperatively as part of a production team to meet daily production goals.Qualifications:Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.Must be able to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.Must be physically capable of frequent lifting, bending, standing, and moving materials.Must have reliable transportation and dependable daily attendance.Must be able to arrive at work on time and consistently maintain the required schedule.Good communication skills and a positive attitude are required.Must be willing and able to work effectively with other team members.Previous manufacturing or material-handling experience is helpful but not required.On-the-job training will be provided.We are looking for a dependable team member who takes pride in their work, maintains a positive attitude, and is committed to consistent attendance and quality.
