JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the unit - Providing direct supervision and guidance to unit staff - Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to patients - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care - Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans - Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and education - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Assist with case management and discharge planning SKILLS - Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively - Knowledge of health coaching principles and techniques - Familiarity with aseptic technique for infection control - Competency in medication administration, including proper dosage calculations and administration routes - Experience in maintaining accurate medical records, including documentation of assessments, treatments, and interventions QUALIFICATIONS -LICENSE PRACTICAL NURSE OR -REGISTERED NURSE Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
