Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS)

ATCS's Construction Services group is growing! We are looking for a qualified Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to join our talented team in Harrisburg, PA and the surrounding areas.Duties:Serve as Lead Inspector on transportation construction inspections on Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, and Facilities type projectsWrite daily progress reportsOversight of contractor work crews to ensure compliance with contract documents, reading and interpretation of contract documents to verify that safe construction practices are being utilized to produce quality resultsComplete documentation of materials, labor compliance, safety, processing estimates, work orders, and adjustmentsReport on-site activities and daily progress to the Project Engineer via standardized reporting, responsible for calculation and determination of pay quantitiesBasic Qualifications:Minimum experience and certification criteria for PennDOT Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor 1Knowledgeable in PennDOT Road & Bridges specifications and standardsKnowledge of mathematics to include algebra, geometry and trigonometryIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.Demonstrating ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary (Valid driver's license is required)Valid Drivers LicenseMust be eligible to work in the United StatesProficient in Site Manager, or other project management softwareOur employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $29.58 to $33.82 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for overtime and an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary. .
