WelderThis role focuses on TIG and MIG welding of mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to produce a wide range of custom metal products. You will work from blueprints in a high-volume, project-based environment where parts and assignments change periodically. This is a hands-on production welding position in a clean, well-equipped shop with opportunities to grow into areas such as fabrication and painting.ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG (approximately 60%) and MIG (approximately 40%) welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components.Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to complete welding tasks accurately and efficiently.Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment and machinery, including basic button-operated production machines.Use hand and power tools to prepare, fit, and finish metal parts according to specifications.Work with sheet metal and fabricated components to assemble and weld custom products.Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure and other basic measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy.Inspect welds and finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs.Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.Collaborate with team members and adapt to changing projects and priorities as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical degree or formal training in fabrication or welding.Experience in a high-volume or custom metal fabrication environment.Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in metalworking.Comfort working on projects that change periodically and require flexibility.Why Work Here?You join a growing, stable, and family-oriented company that offers strong pay and long-term security, with no history of layoffs and very low turnover.
