Roadway Engineering Associate I
The OpportunityRS&H is seeking a Roadway Engineering Associate to join our Transportation Practice in our Raleigh, NC office!Essential Functions:Assist a team of highway engineers with the design of roadway corridors, intersections, and interchanges. This includes roadway geometrics, alternatives analysis, alignment studies, roadside safety evaluations, and crash and safety reporting.Prepare designs, plans, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates under the direction of an experienced engineerGather and provide data for the preparation of engineering reports and studiesPerform design calculations and develop design documentationDevelop materials and exhibits for public involvementMinimum Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Must possess basic knowledge of production software.* Must possess solid oral and written communications skills.* Must have the ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with others.Preferred Qualifications:* Engineer in Training (EIT) licensureBenefits | Careers | RS&H (rsandh.com)Please note: no agency representation or submissions will be recognized for this vacancy.
