Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary arts, possess strong leadership skills, and have experience in various aspects of food service and kitchen management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Plan and create innovative menus that meet quality standards
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for business growth
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in shift management
- Proficiency in inventory control and food cost management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Background in restaurant management or food service management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
