We are more than a coding center—we are a community hub for STEM, creativity, and confidence-building.Role OverviewThe Code Sensei is the front-line mentor and coach, working directly with students ("ninjas") to guide them through coding challenges while creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with kids, technology, and helping others grow.Key ResponsibilitiesGuide students through coding curriculum and projectsHelp ninjas build problem-solving, logic, and critical thinking skillsProvide encouragement, support, and individualized coachingEnsure every student has a fun and rewarding experienceDojo ExperienceCreate a positive, high-energy, and safe environmentMaintain awareness of all students on the floorAssist with opening/closing duties and dojo cleanlinessUphold Code Ninjas standards for safety, engagement, and professionalismParent CommunicationProvide feedback to parents on student progressSupport tours and help demonstrate the Code Ninjas experienceRepresent the brand positively with families and guestsTeam CollaborationWork closely with Lead Senseis and leadership teamParticipate in training and continuous developmentContribute to a supportive and team-oriented cultureQualifications RequiredExperience working with children (mentoring, tutoring, coaching, etc.)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentInterest in coding, gaming, or technologyAbility to learn and apply curriculum quicklyQualifications PreferredBasic knowledge of programming (Scratch, JavaScript, Python, etc.)Teaching, tutoring, or coaching experienceCode Ninjas Black Belt or portfolio (for student applicants)Why This Role Matters Code Senseis are the heart of the dojo experience—they inspire, teach, and create the moments that keep kids coming back.Compensation: Minimum wage – $17.50 per hourCareer Path: Code Sensei ?
