Validation engineer

Our Client, a Consumer Products and Software Services company, is looking for a Validation engineer for their Cupertino, CA/Sunnyvale, CA location.Responsibilities:Design and assemble accurate test systems including development boards and standard benchtop lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters and function generators.Characterize and validate electrical systems in product applications.Document, analyze, and communicate test issues and processes. Requirements:Experience with handson test execution, characterization, and/or boardlevel validation.Familiarity with noise mitigation, including shielding and grounding, in making smallsignal measurements.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators and spectrum analyzers.Working knowledge of macOS, Numbers, Pages, Keynote and Microsoft Excel and Word.Meticulous organizational skills.Ability to work with client engineering teams to rootcause failures.Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with client's hardware products.Experience with Python script execution.Able to move equipment up to 25 lbs as needed.
