Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind new business opportunities and the primary point of contact guiding customer programs from initial quotes through final delivery. You'll coordinate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure our aerospace and manufactured products meet the highest standards for quality, cost, and schedule. Responsibilities Comply with all applicable company safety, environmental, HR, and Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures, including AS9100 requirements, and take appropriate action when violations are observed. Developing and maintaining customer relationships and responding to sales inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Participate in quoting and planning processes to determine customer requirements, including technical specifications, drawings, and contract review, and plan the necessary product realization activities. Coordinate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure adequate resources are available to meet program requirements, delivery schedules, and AS9100/customer-specific quality standards. Maintains necessary project documentation to include customer communication activities. Provides customer satisfaction feedback to other members of top management during management review meetings. Manage program costs and expenses, and develop and implement process efficiencies where possible, including lean manufacturing initiatives. Qualifications At least 2 years of post-secondary education in drafting or engineering Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100/ISO 9001) preferred At least 5 years of experience in project management At least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications Familiarity with materials, tolerances, and processes common to aerospace components (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly) preferred Working knowledge of ITAR/export control compliance a plus Physical Requirements You may be expected to travel to customers in your area and in different states.
