Bookkeeper
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Duties
- Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Implement double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements
- Handle governmental accounting tasks as required
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Utilize 10-key typing for data entry accuracy
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation
- Understand debits and credits to ensure accurate financial records
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
