CNC Programmer

AP Executive Staffing is partnering with a well-established and highly respected precision manufacturer serving demanding industrial markets to identify an experienced CNC Programmer. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on programmer who enjoys working directly on the shop floor, collaborating with machinists, solving manufacturing challenges, and improving machining processes.As the company's sole CNC Programmer, you'll serve as the technical expert responsible for developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC programs while supporting production efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.What You'll DoCNC Programming & Process DevelopmentDevelop and edit CNC programs using G-Code, Mazatrol, and conversational programming.Program CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machining centers.Create tooling packages, setup sheets, and programming documentation.Validate machining methods, production routing, and manufacturing processes.Manufacturing SupportPartner with machinists during program prove-out and troubleshooting.Optimize machining processes and improve cycle times.Support production by resolving machining and programming issues.Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to implement new manufacturing processes.Tooling & Continuous ImprovementDesign simple fixtures, workholding solutions, and manufacturing aids.Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and repeatability.Maintain accurate technical documentation and manufacturing records.Utilize inspection methods and precision measuring equipment to ensure quality standards are met.What We're Looking ForTrade school education or formal machining training preferred.Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming experience.5+ years of combined CNC machining and programming experience.Strong experience programming directly with G-Code and Mazatrol (rather than primarily using CAM software).Experience programming CNC lathes, mills, and/or multi-axis machining centers.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of tooling selection, workholding, fixture design, and machining best practices.Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection methods.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable ITAR/EAR export control eligibility requirements.
