We only accept direct applications.Four Star Mechanical is looking to hire several HVAC Installers. Experienced candidates and apprentices with no experience at all will be considered. We are looking for Foreman, Journeymen, Apprentices and those who are interested in starting a career in the Commercial HVAC Industry.Summary:Install HVAC systems and all other related HVAC components correctly and in a timely manner, while also helping facilitate customer satisfaction and workplace safety. All HVAC technicians are expected to work under close supervision within a team-oriented environment and with a minimal amount of creative design, depending on work experience and proven competencies.Key Responsibilities:Install HVAC systems for commercial constructionCutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machinesInstallation of sheet metal duct and HVAC equipmentSet/mount equipment, rough-in and trim duct systems, experience installing duct systems is preferredLayout and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagramEnsure customer satisfactionOther duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; EPA certification a plusPossess effective verbal and written communication skills3 years of Commercial HVAC experienceExcellent problem-solving and customer service skillsMust have an honest and dependable personalityStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to distinguish between various HVAC equipmentSelf-motivated individual with strong ability to follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a teamPossession of valid driver's license with good driving record and reliable transportationAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningStrong ability to write and read in English languageAbility to lift items that weigh up to 100lbs safelyStrong ability to operate under severe temperature conditions for long periods of timeMust be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sitesWORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONSSome job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The noise in the work environment is often loud.Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours. Certain positions will require flexibility of working hours to meet the demands of the job and the direction of the manager.The work environments are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
