Estimator
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the repair process and insurance estimates by accurately assessing project costs and ensuring that estimates align with client expectations and company standards. This position requires a strong understanding of AUTOMOTIVE BODY REPAIRS and TIME management principles, as well as proficiency in industry-standard software.
Duties
Prepare detailed cost estimates for Vehicle Repairs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
Analyze Vehicle and specifications to determine project requirements and scope.
Collaborate with Insurance, body man, painters, and managers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
Utilize software tools such as CCC1 and Alldata for estimating processes.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
Monitor Repair costs throughout the Process to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Conduct regular reviews of cost control measures to identify potential savings or adjustments needed.
Maintain organized records of estimates, Invoices, and correspondence related to projects with updates
Skills
Strong knowledge of Automotive estimating principles and practices.
Proficiency in Time management and project management methodologies.
Experience with estimating software such as CCC1 and All Data is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage Relationship with vendors and Customers hands on
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of estimating work.
