As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Duties - Provide top-notch customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions in a friendly and professional manner. - Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and counting change. - Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to strict food safety guidelines and ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored. - Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company recipes and standards. - Upsell and promote menu items to increase sales and drive revenue. - Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of the café's menu, ingredients, and nutritional information to answer customer questions and provide recommendations. - Collaborate with other crew members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. - Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, even during peak hours or in challenging situations. Qualifications - Previous experience in a restaurant or café environment is preferred. - Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Basic math skills, including the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register accurately. - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. - Familiarity with retail math and inventory management. - A passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow with our company. - Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
