P-Director of Rehab

Job Description Position: Director of RehabSalary Range: $33-46 per hour (depending on discipline)a reputable 60-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Rehab to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation. We are open to considering candidates with a background in occupational therapy, certified occupational therapy assistant, physical therapy, physical therapy assistant, or speech-language pathology who also have Director of Rehab experience.Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the rehab department, including scheduling, budgeting, and staff management- Develop and implement effective rehab programs for patients, including post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the rehab team, making necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans- Provide ongoing education and training to rehab staff to promote professional growth and development- Act as a liaison between the rehab department and other departments within the facility- Participate in facility meetings and committees as neededQualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech-language pathology- Current state license in respective discipline- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Director of Rehab in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting- Strong leadership and management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to rehab services- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
