Garden Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (Per Diem)

Shift: 10am to 7pm
Position Summary
Garden Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Per Diem Activity Aide to support our Activities Department in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting on weekdays and weekend. The Activity Aide assists with planning and leading recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that enhance residents’ quality of life during evening hours.
Responsibilities
Assist with organizing and conducting group and individual activities for residents
Encourage resident participation and engagement in evening programs
Provide one-on-one interaction with residents as needed
Assist residents to and from activity areas
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
Set up and clean up activity areas and supplies
Document participation and report observations to the Activities Director
Follow all facility policies, infection control, and safety procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in long-term care, recreation, or activities preferred (training provided)
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work with elderly residents and individuals with varying physical or cognitive needs
Schedule & Benefits
Per Diem (Weekday and Weekend) 10am to 7pm.
Competitive pay rate based on experience
Some weekend or holiday availability may be required
Additional compensation may apply in accordance with facility policy or collective bargaining agreement
