Our approach is consultative, direct, and built on long-term partnerships - not transactional staffing.This is a contract-based (1099 / independent contractor) role with a base compensation of $48,000–$60,000 plus commissionRole OverviewWe are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) - Manufacturing with 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within manufacturing domain.This role is responsible for developing new client relationships with large manufacturing organizations, initiating conversations with decision-makers, and positioning our recruitment services as a strategic hiring solution.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and prospect mid-to-large manufacturing companies (500+ employees) across the US and CanadaBuild relationships with HR leaders, Directors of Talent, Engineering Managers, Operations leaders, and Plant leadershipConduct discovery calls to understand hiring needs, workforce challenges, and organizational structurePresent recruitment solutions aligned with manufacturing hiring cycles and labor market realitiesDevelop and manage a qualified pipeline of manufacturing clientsCollaborate closely with recruiters to ensure strong delivery and client satisfactionTrack outreach, pipeline activity, and client engagement in a CRMRepresent the company professionally in all communications (email, phone, video, events)Required Experience & Qualifications3+ years of experience Business Development, Sales, or Account DevelopmentBook of Business Required: Demonstrated ability to generate business through an existing network of manufacturing industry contacts across the US or Canada.Strong understanding of the manufacturing landscape (engineering, production, automation, quality, maintenance, supply chain, etc.)Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise organizationsComfortable engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makersStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsHighly organized, disciplined, and self-drivenExperience working with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)Nice to Have (Not Required)Prior experience selling recruitment or staffing servicesExperience working with manufacturers in: Automotive / Industrial manufacturing / Medical devices / Electronics / Automation or roboticsWhat We OfferThis is a contract-based (1099 / independent contractor) role with a base compensation of $48,000–$60,000 plus commissionThe commission compensation model offers uncapped earning potential, allowing high-performing professionals to significantly increase their incomeClear growth path within the companyHigh-quality delivery team to support client successAutonomy, trust, and a results-driven culture
