A well-established, ENR-ranked general contractor is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to its Chicago team.This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants exposure to a wide variety of projects rather than being tied to one sector. The company works across commercial, multifamily, healthcare, education, hospitality, industrial and mixed-use construction, with projects ranging from smaller renovations through large ground-up developments.The RoleAs Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers and Project Executives while taking ownership of key parts of the construction process, including:Subcontractor coordinationRFIs and submittalsChange ordersCost tracking and forecastingProcurement and buyoutProject documentationOwner and architect communicationSchedule coordinationSupporting projects from preconstruction through closeoutThis is not a role where you’ll stay an APM indefinitely.
