Field/ Machine Engineer

$60K-68K [ Summary ] We are seeking a full-time Field/ MachineEngineer for a premier systems supplier specializing in custom industrial machinery, robotics, and conveyance systems. This role bridges technical application support during the initial project development stage with hands-on, on-site installation management and contractor supervision at end-user facilities. Assess customer requirements and calculate project execution costs, timelines, and manpower needs. Provide on-site project management, confirm floor layouts match drawings, and verify installation specifications. Supervise contractors and contract laborers during the installation phase to deliver fully operational systems. Assist Project Managers with compiling technical information for bid packages and tracking project costs. Coordinate technical discussions and progress meetings between contractors, internal teams, and clients. Maintain ongoing communication with Japanese parent companies and multinational suppliers to ensure timely product delivery. Support client onboarding by assisting with manufacturer technical training and routine follow-ups. Full-time; Requires a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as project needs dictate. Technical knowledge in the production and installation of robotic, conveyance, welding, machining, assembly, and press equipment. Ability to accurately read layout blueprints and technical equipment drawings. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
