Nursing Administrative Coordinator LeadLocation: Levindale Hospital Baltimore MDDepartment: Nursing OperationsSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Summary: Under limited supervision the Lead Nursing Administrative Coordinator provides advanced administrative and operational support to the Nursing Operations department. This role leads daily staffing and scheduling activities ensures optimal utilization of nursing and agency personnel and maintains the accuracy of scheduling systems. Acting as a liaison between Nursing Leadership staff and external agencies the Lead Coordinator ensures efficient operations regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service across the department.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate daily staffing scheduling and agency utilization to meet established guidelines.Monitor staffing levels identify shortages or overages and implement proactive coverage plans.Maintain and update computerized scheduling systems ensure data accuracy and timely rollovers.Generate staffing and utilization reports analyze trends and recommend process improvements.Serve as the primary contact for agency coordination timekeeping and payroll accuracy.Provide administrative support to Nursing Management ensuring effective communication and documentation.Oversee and mentor support staff ensuring timely completion of daily tasks and adherence to policy.Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with departmental regulatory and audit standards.Support process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service quality.Provide coverage for Nursing Administrative Coordinators as needed.QualificationsEducation:Required: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred: Associates DegreeExperience:Required: 3-5 years of administrative or scheduling experience in a healthcare environmentPreferred: Prior lead or supervisory experienceSkills:Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling systemsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of HealthStream and general computer literacyCore Competencies:SERVICE: Exceed customer expectations with high-quality servicePERFORMANCE: Demonstrate accountability and achieve excellenceINNOVATION: Take initiative to make processes betterRESPECT: Honor the dignity and worth of all with compassionINTEGRITY: Uphold the highest ethical standardsTEAMWORK: Work together win togetherAll team members are expected to model LifeBridge Healths CARE BRAVELY commitment and uphold the SPIRIT Values in every interaction.Working Conditions:May require bending lifting (up to 20 lbs.) standing or sitting for extended periodsExposure to bloodborne pathogens communicable diseases and cleaning agentsMay work weekends evenings on-call or extended hours as neededRequires the ability to hear alarms communicate effectively and access equipment in limited spacesAbout Levindale:Levindale Hospital part of LifeBridge Health is a 330-bed post-acute care and specialty facility in Baltimore Maryland.
