Learn more at www.infiniumco.com.About The RoleAs our IT Systems Administrator, you'll be the go-to technical resource for our Sacramento office: owning M365 administration, endpoint management, and day-to-day IT operations while helping us scale securely as we grow. A meaningful and evolving part of this role involves our Enterprise AI program - administering the platforms our team uses today and helping employees get real value from them. You'll report to the VP of IT and work directly with employees across every part of the business. If you like ownership, variety, and the satisfaction of keeping a high-performing team unblocked, this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesUser SupportServe as the primary onsite IT resource for the Sacramento officeProvide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows and macOS endpoints, mobile devices, printers, and peripheralsOwn hardware lifecycle: procurement, configuration, deployment, and decommissionTroubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and software issues; escalate to vendors where appropriateSystems & InfrastructureAdminister core M365 platforms: Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and TeamsManage the full user lifecycle - provisioning, access reviews, and deprovisioning - across M365, VPN, and business-critical applicationsMonitor system health and proactively address reliability, performance, and security gapsMaintain and improve backup, patching, and endpoint protection strategiesSupport network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches) in partnership with MSPsEnterprise AI SupportAdminister Enterprise AI platforms currently in use across the organization - including Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Claude - covering licensing, access controls, usage policies, and vendor managementServe as the internal go-to for end-user AI support: onboarding employees, driving adoption, and helping teams build effective AI habits in their day-to-day workflowsDevelop and deliver training materials and guidance to help non-technical staff get practical value from AI toolsMonitor platform usage and surface feedback to inform how the organization's AI tooling evolvesAs the role matures: identify opportunities to build internal tooling and workflows, and support agentic integrations where appropriateSecurity & ComplianceEnforce MFA, least-privilege access, device compliance policies, and patch cadencesSupport audits, compliance initiatives, and security assessmentsDocument and respond to security incidents, including remediation and post-incident reviewOperations & DocumentationMaintain clear, current documentation for configurations, runbooks, and proceduresIdentify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual overheadManage IT asset inventory and lifecycle trackingRequired Qualifications2–5 years of experience in IT support or systems administrationHands-on experience administering Microsoft 365: Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, and SharePointSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi)Experience implementing security controls: MFA, endpoint compliance, and patch managementExperience administering or supporting Enterprise AI platforms (Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, or equivalent)Ability to translate AI platform capabilities into practical, accessible guidance for non-technical end usersStrong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to work independently under pressureClear communicator — you can explain technical issues to non-technical people without condescensionPreferred QualificationsExperience in a startup or high-growth environment where you've had to build process, not just follow itPowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasksFamiliarity with AI workflow automation or agentic concepts — and genuine curiosity to develop deeper capability in this areaExposure to API-based AI integrations or low-code/no-code automation tools (Power Automate, Zapier, or similar)Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-104) or CompTIA Security+/Network+Salary RangeThe annual salary for the System Administrator position is expected to be between $90,000 and $115,000, depending on experience and qualifications.E04JI8007u83408hsdk
