Project Manager - Structural
Position Overview The Project Manager – Structural applies advanced and diversified knowledge of engineering principles across a broad range of assignments, making independent decisions on technical problems and methods. This person utilizes and adapts advanced techniques while extending established theories and practices within the field. They effectively interpret client needs from limited information, resolve most project-related issues, and build strong relationships to serve as a primary contact for multiple clients.
The Project Manager reports to the Department Manager and actively supports business development efforts to attract and engage new clients.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities Manages and coordinates multiple projects or large projects with moderate complexity, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Develops project plans, scope, and criteria, and oversees execution by project teams
Performs construction administration activities and supports project delivery through all phases
Maintains client relationships and supports business development efforts, including networking and use of CRM/tools
Prepares fee proposals and supports pursuit efforts with Department Manager guidance
Supports development of junior engineers and designers through day-to-day guidance and training
Monitors project financial performance, including budget tracking and coordination on receivables
Conducts existing condition evaluations and prepares technical reports
Ensures compliance with design safety standards and company expectations
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
10+ years of engineering experience
Proven experience managing projects and coordinating work across engineering teams
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple office locations
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience managing multiple projects of varying size and complexity
Familiarity with construction administration and project delivery processes
Exposure to client interaction and supporting business development efforts
Ability to support and guide junior engineers and designers
