It’s hands-on, technical, and important.You’ll be:Running and monitoring wastewater treatment processesCarrying out microbiological and chemical testingSupporting maintenance and troubleshootingEnsuring environmental and safety standards are metYou won’t be micromanaged but you will be relied on.What They’re Looking For1–3 years in manufacturing, plant ops, or wastewaterExposure to wastewater processes (or strong technical aptitude)Basic microbiology/chemistry understandingSomeone reliable—this is a role that depends on consistencyYou’ll need to hold—or be able to obtain within 12 months—a Water/Wastewater System Operator License in line with state regulations. Support will be provided, but the commitment to get licensed is essential.This role will suit someone who’s looking for stability, but doesn’t want to disappear into the background.
