Job Title: NC/CNC Machine Operator – 3rd ShiftLocation: Syracuse, New York (Onsite)Employment Type: Full-TimeShift Timing: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (3rd Shift)Role SummaryWe are seeking a skilled NC/CNC Machine Operator to perform machining operations on numerically controlled equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on experience with CNC machines, blueprint reading, tooling changes, and maintaining quality standards while ensuring operational efficiency during the 3rd shift.Key ResponsibilitiesMachining OperationsOperate two or more CNC/NC machines to perform precision machining tasksExecute operations based on blueprints, operation sheets, and specificationsLoad programs, change tooling, and manage automatic tool changesSetup & Equipment SupportAssist in machine setup and calibration as directedSupport troubleshooting and correction of machining control malfunctionsEnsure proper sequencing of operations for efficient productionQuality AssuranceInspect parts using gauges and measuring instrumentsMaintain strict adherence to quality standards and tolerancesIdentify and escalate defects or inconsistenciesMaintenance & TPM ActivitiesPerform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks including cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustmentsMaintain machines and work areas in a clean and organized conditionEnsure proper material handling between workstationsOperational ExcellenceFollow standard operating procedures and safety guidelinesApply judgment to perform tasks within established processesContribute to continuous improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsMinimum 1+ year of CNC machine operation experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsExperience with tooling changes and machine setup supportFamiliarity with measuring tools and gaugesStrong attention to detail and qualityAdditional RequirementsMust reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY (No relocation provided)Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship available)Ability to work 3rd shift (overnight hours)
