Defense Litigation Attorney
Job DescriptionWe partnered with a law firm in the area that is seeking a skilled Litigation Defense Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with experience in litigation defense who are looking to advance their career in a collaborative, client-focused environment.Qualifications:In good standing with state barOne or more years' experienceThe ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and seek the rewards and benefits of growing their practice within the firm.Attorneys need to be willing to litigate and practice in a number of the firm's practice areas, including insurance defense, probate litigation, and business litigation.Attorneys should be prepared to engage in insurance defense and other civil litigation and have the ability to handle all aspects of the litigation process.Attorneys should have experience with development of case strategy, legal research, preparation of responsive pleadings, briefs and memoranda, and communicating with clients regarding legal strategies and courses of action.Attorneys must have experience preparing cases by gathering evidence, preparing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and attending court hearings and mediation.
