Full time VPK/PreK Teacher 2026-2027, Corpus Christi Catholic School, Temple Terrace, FL

Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a Full time VPK/PreK Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The VPK/PreK Teacher is responsible for implementing the VPK curriculum to support Kindergarten readiness in literacy, math, social-emotional development, and early learning skills in alignment with state standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with VPK standards Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment Support childrens cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Maintain accurate documentation, assessments, and attendance as required by VPK guidelines Conduct and track child assessments (such as readiness or progress monitoring tools) Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians Supervise children at all times, including during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play Collaborate with teaching assistant and administrative staff Follow all licensing, safety, and VPK program requirements Qualifications Knowledge of CLASS Current or able to attain VPK certification and training, as required by the state CDA Experience teaching preschool or prekindergarten-aged children CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong understanding of early childhood development and classroom management Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Level II Background Screening and mandatory Safe Environment Training.
