We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals who have in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessments, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstrations, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of designated information and/or intelligence software systems.Job DutiesSupport the warehouse team and logistics team lead by controlling the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirementsMay also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to productionDevelops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and productionEnsures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plansInherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervisionQualificationsEducation RequirementsBachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; four (4) years' experience can be accepted in lieu of degreeRequired SkillsStrong background in material management and shipping Experience with G-Army and ASTSMust be physically fit and able to lift up to 60 lbs aloneExperience with Microsoft Office Suite Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervisionDesired ExperienceValid Commercial Drivers License Certified Fork Lift Operator Clearance RequirementsActive Top Secret Clearance is required; TS/SCI Security Clearance is required to maintain employmentSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
