It may involve taking your toddler to the park, driving a stranger to the airport, running a half marathon, or exploring a new city for the first time.About The JobWe're seeking an experienced and highly accountable Operations Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations in Los Angeles, CA. This role will partner directly with the Operations Manager to manage a large, distributed hourly workforce and ensure consistent, high-quality execution in the field.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving team performance, building structure, and maintaining operational standards across a growing network.The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - 95,000. This is a full-time, exempt position. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's applicable experience, skills, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including equity.What You'll DoTeam Leadership, Hiring & DevelopmentBuild and develop the field leadership layer by hiring, training, and managing a team of Senior Operations SpecialistsDirectly manage Senior Operations Specialists, with indirect oversight of hourly field employeesSet clear expectations and hold both leads and team members accountable to performance standards, including clean score, productivity, and reliabilityCoach and develop Senior Operations Specialists to take ownership of field performance, escalation handling, and team supportIdentify performance gaps early across both leads and hourly team members, and take corrective action as neededField Operations OversightEnsure consistent execution of cleaning operations across all assigned zonesMonitor routing, staffing, and coverage to ensure high-demand locations are properly supportedConduct regular field audits to maintain quality and consistencyWarehouse & Inventory ManagementPartner with Technical Operations Supervisor for warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring teams are consistently stocked and able to execute without disruptionTrack usage trends and maintain appropriate stock levels, including setting reorder points and forecasting needs based on volume and growthEstablish clear systems and accountability for warehouse organization and field restocking to prevent over-ordering, and wastePeople & Administrative Management:Manage and develop a team of Senior Operations Specialists, with indirect oversight of hourly field employees across the networkOversee scheduling, timecard approvals, and payroll accuracy to ensure reliable team coverage and operational consistencyLead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for both Senior Operations Specialists and hourly team members, including coaching and corrective action in partnership with the Operations ManagerWhat You'll Bring3–5+ years of experience managing hourly field teams, ideally in service operations, facilities, logistics, or hospitalityProven ability to manage large teams (20+ indirect reports) and drive performance in a distributed environmentStrong leadership presence with the ability to hold team members accountable while building a positive, high-performing cultureExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in dynamic situationsComfortable giving direct, actionable feedback and managing performance issuesStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and operational follow-throughExperience with mobile workforce tools, scheduling systems, and platforms like Google Workspace and SlackValid driver's license and clean driving recordCan-do attitude and passion for Throne's missionComfortable working in environments related to sanitation and human waste systemsSchedule & Physical RequirementsThis is a full-time position. Must be available to work regular weekend and/or evening/early morning shifts, including potential holidays.This role is a combination of warehouse, field, and admin work. Requiring reporting into the main warehouse daily.
