As our Concierge, you will serve as the face of our brand, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while managing the operational flow of our salon. Whether you're building a long-term career or stepping into a leadership journey, Pressed Roots provides the tools, training, and culture to help you succeed.And it doesn't stop there...Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the first point of contact, providing a welcoming and seamless client experience from check-in to check-outAssign clients to stylists based on availability, skill sets, and client preferences, ensuring an optimal balance of scheduled and walk-in clientsCoordinate schedules and manage salon flow, ensuring appointments run smoothly and on timeBecome an expert in the reservation system, managing client profiles, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing the booking processRebook client appointments during checkout, addressing clients by name and promoting loyaltyEducate clients on Pressed Roots products and services while upselling additional offeringsHandle payments, tips, and commissions ethically and accuratelyMaintain salon cleanliness and organization, conducting regular walkthroughs of the front desk, bar, and studioAddress client concerns or operational challenges with a problem-solving mindset, always prioritizing an excellent client experienceCommunicate with the Studio Manager about shop operations and opportunities for improvementServe complimentary beverages and engage clients to enhance their experiencePerform additional duties as assigned by managementRequirementsQualificationsExceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage a dynamic salon environmentStrong customer service and communication skills with a client-focused mindsetAbility to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with salon operations and scheduling systems is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years of customer service experience (previous front desk or salon experience preferred)Must be 18 years or olderAvailability:Part-time hours with availability for evenings and weekendsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours)Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as data entry or interacting with clientsAbility to lift and carry objects up to 15 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead to maintain cleanliness and assist clientsPressed Roots is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities who can perform the essential functions of this job.
