This paid position will report to a Survey Team Leader and will be introduced to and utilized in surveying work both in the field and in the office.ResponsibilitiesWork as a member of a survey crewPerform boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveysSet up and operate survey equipmentPerform survey calculationsPerform all aspects of stakeout and location surveysDraft or model in software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GeopakCMES, Inc. is willing to expend the time and resources necessary to train and develop the selected individual.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAble to work outside in diverse weather conditions, often working near equipment or machinery on rough, uneven, rocky or slippery surfacesAble to stand, walk, reach, balance, and lift up to 50 poundsMust be at least 18 years oldThis position description is intended as a summary only of key duties.
