Personal Injury Attorney

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role located in either the Ontario, CA office or the Los Angeles, CA office with work-from-home flexibility. The Associate Attorney will advocate on behalf of injured plaintiffs in a variety of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and other negligence-based claims.Daily responsibilities include managing cases from intake through resolution, maintaining consistent client communication, drafting pleadings and demand packages, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, negotiating with insurance carriers, and collaborating with senior attorneys on litigation and trial strategy.The successful applicant will be able to handle all aspects of plaintiff-side personal injury cases from beginning to end—including evaluating liability and damages, working with medical providers and experts, negotiating pre-litigation and litigated settlements, and preparing cases for trial where necessary—all while maximizing financial recovery for injured clients.QualificationsStrong understanding of plaintiff-side personal injury law and civil litigationExperience advocating on behalf of injured clients in negligence-based claimsAbility to evaluate liability, damages, and case valueExperience drafting demand packages, motions, pleadings, and discoverySkilled in negotiating settlements with insurance adjusters and defense counselExperience taking and defending depositions preferredTrial preparation experience is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a litigation teamJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in the California State BarExperience handling plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial preferredSalary: $150,000 - $200,000 DOEAdditional Job Application TermsThis job is part of LinkedIn’s Full-Service Hiring beta program.
