OSG is seeking a skilled Insert Mail Machine Operator to safely operate the inserter machine and ensure that all job tickets are completed accurately and meet quality standards. We currently have four shifts available Sunday to Tuesday night 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, Wednesday to Friday night 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, Monday - Wednesday 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, Thursday to Saturday 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesInterpret and follow job tickets accuratelyUnderstand basic postal concepts and requirementsProperly load and unload stock for each jobConsistently demonstrate safe lifting techniques for materialsMeet or exceed production quotas while accurately sorting products by first and third classPerform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbookEmployment Requirements / SkillsAbility to multi-task and operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneouslySelf-starter with strong attention to detailBasic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsWork EnvironmentOccasional exposure to moving mechanical partsOccasional exposure to vibrationModerate noise levels typical of a manufacturing environment
