Overview Join our dynamic food production team as a Sausage Maker and become a vital part of crafting high-quality, delicious sausages that delight customers! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a family owned meat processing plant dedicated to excellence in quality meat processing. As a Sausage Maker, you will be responsible for preparing, stuffing, and packaging sausages while ensuring all products meet strict safety and sanitation standards. You will also spend time on the cutting table learning how to cut meat. Bring your passion for food production and meat cutting to a team committed to quality, safety, and innovation! Duties Prepare sausage mixtures according to established recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate meat cutting equipment and mechanical tools safely to process meats efficiently. Stuff sausage casings using specialized machinery, maintaining proper technique for uniformity. Brine, cook, cut and package hams and bacons Package finished products accurately, labeling them with appropriate information for traceability. Help cut and process beef, pork, lamb, goat and deer on the cutting table. Experience While it would be a benefit to hire someone with experience, we are more than happy to train the right person from the ground up The major requirement is a willingness to work with a team, and desire to improve skill and quality on a daily basis. We love a person who takes pride in their work! Attention to detail and some basic skills with math is a necessity. Candidate must be able to lift 50 lb. Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week Work Location: In person
