Job Description We have a wonderful Full-Time opportunity to join our Evoke Wellness Ohio Nursing team as a Registered NurseThe Registered Nurse is responsible for all Nursing related services for each patient and for linking patients to the physicians and to outside medical resources. They participate in the Interdisciplinary Team Meetings when necessary to inform the clinical team about medical issues and are available for emergency medical situations. The Registered Nurse provides all services under the supervision of the Medical Director. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing medical & history screens, providing routine nursing care, and overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician. They are also a member of the Treatment Team and provide input into the development of the Master Treatment Plan.Position ResponsibilitiesProvide direct care for patients with history of mental health and substance use.Transcribes Physician?s Orders and Implement all Medical Protocols as orderedAdministers medications and monitors for effectiveness and adverse effectsConfers with and assist the Medical Doctor/APRN and the Psychiatrist.Provides documentation which reflects services for each patient in accordance with licensure standardsMaintains the Confidential nature of all patients and facility activitiesInteracts with clients with compassion and respectAttends in-service education programs as assigned to learn new forms, procedures, developmental skills etc.Has good work habits: get things done in a timely, efficient manner with no excessive absences; is on timeMaintains CPR certification.Performs other capacities as needed.Position RequirementsDemonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & documentation skills.Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes RegardingPatient Confidentiality laws.Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress management, ethics and team building.Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate action, when necessary.Knowledge of emergency procedure used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose.Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.A minimum of a diploma or an associate?s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program.Must have passed National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)Schedule3x124x105x8Day shiftEvening shiftNight shiftOvernight shiftWeekend availabilityTravel: NonePhysicial RequirementsStanding, bending, crouching, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, driving- 0%-25%Walking- 26%-50%Sitting- 51%-75%Reading- 76%-100%
