In this role, youll play a vital part in maintaining safe professional delivery of water treatment chemicals (both hazmat and non-hazmat), delivering in a box truck, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. When not delivering shipping/receiving/warehouse responsibilities will be required.What we offer:Competitive Compensation: Hourly Pay Range $29-32/hr based on experience with overtimeGreat Schedule & Consistent Work : 6:30 am-3:30 pm. Full-time position (40+ hours) Monday Friday, year-round work.Comprehensive Benefits: Medical and Dental Insurance with generous employer contributions, HSA contributions ($1200 family/$800 Individual annually), 401K with company matching, 15 PTO Days/16 Paid Holidays (including the last week and a half holiday pay at the end of the year !), Company Profit Sharing Bonus (budget projection for 2025, 3-4 weeks of additional pay ) and more.Company perks: Company provided truck and cell phoneEngaging Culture: Caring Leadership, High Engagement, Team & Company eventsCareer Growth: Hands-on training, Employee Development, Manager Investment, Continuing Education ReimbursementMain Responsibilities of the position:Chemical DeliveriesHandle bulk, point-of-use, and standard dock deliveries.Ensure all deliveries meet customer requirements and safety standards.ShippingStage and load HOH trucks daily using a forklift.Load outbound shipments for common carriers.Schedule common carriers using the Transportation Management System (TMS).Prepare Bills of Lading and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in compliance with DOT regulations.ReceivingUnload inbound shipments from common carriers.Process purchase order receipts accurately.Create and receipt warehouse transfers from the Chicago location.Parcel ShipmentsPrepare and label FedEx/UPS packages.Process parcel shipments through FedEx and UPS systems.Inventory ManagementConduct monthly cycle counts.Ensure products are placed in designated storage locations.General MaintenanceMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.Ensure all products are off the floor by the end of each workday.Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).Requirements: Successful completion of a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE), Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and Drug Screening?Valid CDL license.Hazmat Endorsement, Tanker Endorsement, & Air Brakes Endorsement (must have within 30 days of hire)Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.Legally authorized to work in the U.S.Must currently be 21 years of agePhysical DemandsThis position requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during an 8-hour workday while driving and performing on-site delivery and warehouse tasks. The employee must be able to frequently use hands and arms for grasping, turning, reaching, and operating equipment, tools, hoses, and vehicle controls. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and reaching above shoulder height are essential functions of the role. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with heavier loads moved using appropriate equipment. Work is performed indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, dust, fumes, moving machinery, heights, and hazardous materials while wearing required personal protective equipment. The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.Work Environment:Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. The employee may be exposed to varying weather conditions, wet or humid environments, vibration, moving machinery, and hazardous or caustic chemicals.
