Summary
As an Administrative Assistant you will support the employee benefits team, internally ensuring accuracy and consistency across client accounts. Prior experience in employee benefits is helpful but is not required for this entry-level role. We value curiosity, accountability, and willingness to learn. This is a great opportunity to learn about employee benefits.
Responsibilities
Assist with client onboarding, renewals, and ongoing service tasks
Prepare and organize materials for meetings, open enrollment, and renewals
Enter, update, and maintain client and plan data across multiple internal software platforms
Support the Director of Client Management and Account Managers with internal account coordination
Track deadlines, deliverables, and outstanding items to ensure work is completed on time
Assist with documentation and compliance-related processes under supervision
Communicate with clients or insurance carriers as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working with data, systems, and structured processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, bilingual is a plus
Willingness to learn and grow in a professional services environment
No prior employee benefits or insurance experience is required
Administrative, office, or project coordination experience is a plus
Ability to learn and work within multiple in-house software platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, preferred
