Special Education Teacher

Position Summary The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with multiple disabilities. This role focuses on creating and delivering tailored educational experiences that promote intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and modify curriculum based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ diverse learning needs Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Maintain a structured, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and team membersQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field Valid state certification in teaching students with disabilities Experience working with students with learning or developmental disabilities preferredBenefits Comprehensive benefits package Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Work-life balance focus On-site childcare availability
