Mid-Senior Electrical EngineerOur client is seeking a full-time Mid-Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team in Ohio, Northern Kentucky or Eastern Indiana,This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer who enjoys variety and solving complex challenges across multiple industries.You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers committed to innovation, technical excellence, and delivering high-impact solutions for clients—including Fortune 500 companies.What You’ll DoLead the electrical design of low-voltage power-distribution systems rated at 600V and below.Develop one-line diagrams and lighting layouts.Specify motor control centers (MCCs), switchgear, distribution panels, and related electrical equipment.Apply NFPA 70E, NEC, and applicable state and local codes to ensure safe, compliant designs.Perform short-circuit, arc-flash, coordination, and load-flow studies using industry-standard software such as SKM or EasyPower.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients to solve complex technical challenges.Support clients throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases.Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, building codes, and industry best practices.Contribute to project planning, estimating, scheduling, and execution.Travel occasionally to client and project sites.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.At least five years of professional electrical engineering experience.Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.Experience designing low-voltage power-distribution systems for industrial projects.Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, and applicable electrical codes.Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting industrial environments such as agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, or biofuels.Previous experience with an engineering consulting or design firm.Experience using SKM, EasyPower, or similar electrical-analysis software.
