Senior Offensive Security Engineer, Red Team (Remote) | Cincinnati, OH | Remote | $110,000 - $165,000We're working with a global powerhouse behind 65 of the world’s most iconic consumer brands on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a world-class Red Teamer to break into complex enterprise environments to help build more resilient defenses against the world’s most advanced adversaries.In this role, you will lead sophisticated assumed-breach campaigns and collaborate directly with SOC/DFIR teams to transform high-level technical tradecraft into durable detections. You'll work at the intersection of offensive research and defensive engineering, leveraging tools like Python, Go, and C++ to bypass EDR, network segmentation, and cloud guardrails across AWS and Azure environments.The Role• Lead end-to-end Red Team operations, from scenario design and ROE development to stealthy execution and executive-level hot-wash briefings.• Drive Purple Team engagements by collaborating with Detection Engineering to convert TTPs into measurable response improvements and automated runbooks.• Orchestrate assumed-breach campaigns focusing on EDR/AV evasion, identity/conditional access bypass, and navigating complex network segmentation.• Develop custom offensive tooling and lightweight payloads using Python, PowerShell, Go, or C++ to exercise specific security controls and maintain OPSEC.• Research and prototype novel exploitation techniques across Diverse domains including Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), IoT/OT, and Directory Services.What You'll Need• 3+ years of experience running advanced offensive or adversary emulation operations in large, complex enterprise environments.• Deep technical expertise in bypassing preventative controls (EDR, MFA, SSO, OAuth) and a strong command of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.• Proficiency in at least two technical domains: Enterprise Web/Mobile Apps, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure), or Identity/Directory Services (AD/Entra ID).• Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to script and build tools in Python, Go, PowerShell, or C++.• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science (or 7+ years of equivalent professional experience in offensive security).What's On Offer• Competitive salary range of $110,000 - $165,000 plus performance-based bonus structures.• Purposeful work protecting global brands used by over 5 billion consumers worldwide.• High-impact role in a creative workspace where technical expertise and offensive innovation are recognized and rewarded.• Comprehensive benefits package and a defined path for career growth within a global IT organization.Apply via Haystack today!
