About the Role As a Product Development Engineer, you will bridge the gap between client concepts and manufacturing reality by transforming ideas into precise technical documentation. You will play a pivotal role in driving project success by managing timelines and ensuring that all engineering outputs meet rigorous quality and compliance standards. Responsibilities Translate client requirements into actionable project objectives and detailed manufacturing files. Establish and maintain project timelines by coordinating cross-functional activities and proactively resolving bottlenecks. Prepare comprehensive 3D models and technical drawings to facilitate seamless production. Ensure all engineering documentation adheres to strict federal ITAR compliance protocols. Drive the successful delivery of complex engineering projects from initial design to final manufacturing. Foster clear communication between technical teams and customers to ensure design intent is fully realized. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks or Cadkey. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Skills Prior experience with Unigraphics. Advanced knowledge of manufacturing workflows and design-for-manufacturability principles. Experience navigating regulatory compliance environments.
